Biography

Born in 1987, Clément Parmentier aka. Seiswork felt very early the need to create, compose and perform. He chose to follow the path of the arts by training at first on drums during his childhood, which enabled him to discover percussion and rhythm. Then, at the turn of the years 2000 he began the composition of electronic music and the learning of audio recording systems as an autodidact.

In 2006, he enrolled at the Royal Conservatory of Mons in the electroacoustic music section directed by Annette Vande Gorne. In 2011, he obtained his Master's Degree in music with a specialized finality (including a specialization in sound design and film sound editing) and on the other hand his aggregation of upper secondary education. He then realised a Master's Degree in Advanced Studies in association with the Free University of Brussels, perfecting in that way his skills regarding scientific writing and research.

The domains of cinema, sound and video are regularly integrated in his artistic productions. He has had the opportunity to collaborate with videographers, composers, performers of instrumental music and theater companies. He is also active in the environment of higher art education and teaches computer-assisted music composition and sound design at the Royal Conservatory of Mons (ARTS²) and the Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy of Namur (IMEP).
